AI Training Intern

Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) | July 2025

I participated in a 5-session AI Training Program covering Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Python, and Computer Vision through hands-on, engineering-focused activities. I worked with Python, Google Colab, Pandas, and Matplotlib to process and visualize environmental datasets, while exploring Classification, Regression, Decision Trees, and KNN and practicing model training and accuracy evaluation.

As part of the program, I developed and presented a mini AI project addressing environmental applications, including waste classification and plant-condition recognition. The experience provided practical exposure to data analysis, machine learning, computer vision, technical presentation, and iterative feedback from mentors.

Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP) Training Center | July 2026 | Certificate

I participated in the Hi-Tech Youth Internship Program, gaining hands-on exposure to four technology areas: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Drone & UAV, and Electronics & Semiconductor Integrated Circuits. The program combined practical activities with company visits and technology demonstrations, providing insight into real-world applications and emerging technology careers.

Through AI and Machine Learning activities, I explored image and object recognition, basic AI model development, real-time data classification, and model accuracy optimization. I also collaborated in a 4–5 member team to develop and present a practical technology project, applying technical problem-solving, teamwork, project development, and presentation skills in an interdisciplinary technology environment.

Hong Quang Orphanage | February 2025 – 2026

A social work program supporting 30+ orphaned children in Vung Tau through creative education, academic learning, hands-on experiments, and physical activities, with an emphasis on connecting classroom knowledge to practical experiences.

I led and coordinated the creative teaching team, planning lessons and distributing teaching responsibilities across small groups. I prepared lesson plans covering learning objectives, teaching materials, activities, and personnel, while developing approaches to monitor team members’ progress and adapt teaching methods to students’ abilities and needs.

Children Art Exhibition × Lawrence S. Ting Foundation | August 2025

An art exhibition showcasing works by children with physical and developmental disabilities, celebrating diverse perspectives and creative expression.

I supported visitor reception and artwork introduction, staffed exhibition booths, promoted featured products, and encouraged visitors to participate in the foundation’s drawing competition. I also gained hands-on experience in exhibition organization, contributing to the presentation concept, spatial layout, and overall visitor experience.

Science Exchange Program: Lishan × Bailing × Kiang Chao × LSTS | August 2026

A cross-cultural academic exchange connecting students from Vietnam and Taiwan through STEM education, scientific research, and academic collaboration.

I collaborated with Taiwanese student delegates through scientific discussions, peer-learning sessions, and cross-border academic presentation workshops. The program provided practical experience in intercultural communication, international academic networking, collaborative problem-solving, and scientific exchange within a global STEM environment.
